The Dow Jones Industrial Average is seeing a selloff Wednesday afternoon with shares of Boeing and JPMorgan Chase delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index.
The Dow DJIA, -0.87% was most recently trading 360 points (1.1%) lower, as shares of Boeing BA, -4.38% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -4.72% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Boeing’s shares have dropped $10.27 (5.0%) while those of JPMorgan Chase are down $5.83, or 4.3%, combining for an approximately 106-point drag on the Dow. Caterpillar CAT, -3.73%, Chevron CVX, -4.33%, and Dow DOW, -3.46% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
